A wholesale floral distributor with more than 30 years of experience is moving into a newly constructed building in Orfordville.
The Rose Connection is moving from Evansville to 735 Dodge Street in the Business Industrial Park in Orfordville.
Orfordville Economic Development Committee Chair Beth Schmidt says the Village offers land in it’s Business Industrial Park for $1.00 to help attract businesses.
The company employs ten people that process flowers, assemble them into bouquets, and then deliver to area businesses to be sold. Bouquets are delivered to local grocery stores, convenience stores, and also to Walgreens stores.
A ribbon cutting ceremony that was planned for Saturday has been postponed for a future date.
