Beloit Police are warning citizens about scammers who burglarized a home this week.
According to a Facebook post, an elderly victim was approached at their home Wednesday afternoon by a man who said he was working with a tree removal company.
While the victim was out at the tree line with one of the suspects, the other suspects were inside the home stealing items.
Beloit Police say solicitors in the City of Beloit are required to have a license which they should be able to display when asked.
