The Aging and Disability Resource Center is hosting a day to honor family caregivers of people with dementia in early November.
ADRC Dementia Care Specialist Karen Tennyson says the day will feature lunch, keynote speakers, journaling practice and more; with the hope that caregivers can learn self care tips to take and utilize.
Tennyson says the day will also feature pampering services like chair massages, aromatherapy, hand massages, and modified manicures.
The event takes place on November 3rd and pre-registration is required and can be done by contacting Tennyson at the ADRC of Rock County.
