Janesville Police are releasing more information about the vehicle versus pedestrian crash last week that killed a nine-year-old Janesville boy.
Deputy Police chief Todd Kleisner says the vehicle involved in the crash was a large SUV that had illegal tint on the windows.
Kleisner says the crash occurred at an extremely low speed as the driver had just pulled away from the crosswalk at East Memorial Drive and Prairie Avenue after allowing another child to cross.
Kleisner says charges are likely forthcoming after the State Patrol completes their accident report.
