Janesville will be adding another Starbucks and gaining a Lencrafters after an approved vote by the Janesville Plan Commission at their meeting Monday night.
The conditional use permit was unanimously passed by the members of the plan commission.
Commission member Barry Badertscher says it’s a good use of the land and is the prefect redevelopment of the building.
Member Douglas Marklein however voiced concerns about the potential traffic patterns at the Starbucks drive-thru, stating that he doesn’t believe drivers will abide by a right turn only sign into the drive thru.
The permit also allows for the two stores to be represented on the shared Uptown Janesville sign along Milton Avenue.
