The City of Janesville is taking the next step in the City Manager hiring process.
Last week the City Council approved of the hiring of Government Professional Solutions to lead the nationwide search.
Janesville residents are now being invited to participate in a survey intended to determine what skills and qualities are important for the next City Manager.
Human Resources Director Tara Semenchuk says it’s available on the City’s website through October 26th.
Semenchuk says citizens will have a chance to share their thoughts with the recruitment firm Government Professional Solutions in person during a community meeting on November 1st from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m.
Current City Manager Mark Freitag leaves this week to take the City Manager position in Westminster, Colorado. Janesville Police Chief Dave Moore will begin serving as interim City Manager on Monday.
