Students at Marshall Middle school are making their pledge to stay drug free plain to see.
Mobilizing for Change Project Coordinator Xandi Finn says a poster campaign features youth leaders within the middle school, and students signed the pledge to commit to a drug free lifestyle.
Finn says that peer to peer leadership is often more impact than other forms of leadership, and when students see their peers committing to drug free lifestyles it affects them at a more personal level.
Students signed the poster (Monday), which was also the start of Red Ribbon week, a week long campaign to fight against teen drug abuse.
