The City so affectionately referred to as Chains-ville may be getting another drive-thru coffee shop.
Scooter’s Coffee is looking to open up a new location on Humes Road in Janesville.
Associate Planner Trae Meyer says the proposed building near the intersection with North Pontiac Drive would require a conditional use permit.
If approved, Scooter’s Coffee would build a 650 square foot, drive-thru-only facility that sells coffee, drinks, and some food items.
When they meet Monday night, the Janesville Plan Commission is expected to schedule a public hearing for the project on December 5th.
