Three people are dead and three others are injured following a two-vehicle crash Saturday night in Center Township. An investigation by the Rock County Sheriff’s Office found a white Nissan failed to stop at the stop sign at the intersection of North County Highway H and West State Highway 11. A gray Ford traveling on Highway 11 struck the Nissan broadside on the driver’s side. The drivers of both vehicles and a passenger in the Nissan were pronounced dead at the scene by the Rock County Medical Examiner’s Office. Three other passengers in the two vehicles were hospitalized for injuries sustained in the crash. The sheriff’s office says the identities of the fatalities in the crash may be released at a later date Traffic on Highway 11 was rerouted for several hours until the scene was cleared.
