The Beloit Public Library is hoping to attract patrons to it’s latest lunch and learn series with the offer of a free meal.

The Beloit Public Library is hosting a series of educational programs focused on property taxes, intending to help citizens get to know their local government.

Beloit Director of Finance and Administrative Services Eric Miller says there will be presentations from each of the four local taxing districts.

The first program will take place Wednesday at noon, with monthly presentations to follow in December, January, and February.

The first 25 people to register for each program will receive a free lunch courtesy of the Stateline Community Foundation.
