School District of Janesville’s DPI report card shows improvement

The School District of Janesville’s Department of Public Instruction school report card score improves slightly over last year.
Public Information Officer Patrick Gasper says says the district’s overall report card score went up from 56.8 in the 2020-2021 school year to 60.2 in the 2021-2022 school year.
Jefferson Elementary School improved it’s score the most, gaining 26 points for a rating of exceeds expectations. Wilson Elementary School’s score declined 6.2 points – more than any other school – for a rating of meets few expectations.
The District’s highest rated school is Jackson Elementary with a score of 82 which exceeds expectations. The lowest rated school is Wilson Elementary School with a score of 48.8 which meets few expectations.
The district’s overall score qualifies for a ranking of meets expectations.
