Beloit robbery suspect pleads guilty

A 43-year-old Beloit man who is one of two people accused of robbing a Beloit motel back in January, appears to be taking responsibility for the crime.

In Rock County Court Tuesday morning Joshua Vega-Kelley plead guilty to a single count of party to the crime of robbery with use of force.

Vega-Kelley and Cory Kiser are accused of committing the robbery at about 10:00 the morning of January 8th at the Driftwood Motel on the 1800 block of South Riverside Drive.

Kiser’s case is scheduled for a jury trial which will begin February 13th.

Vega-Kelley faces up to 15 years in prison at his sentencing on February 10th.
