The City so affectionately referred to as Chains-ville is getting another drive-thru coffee shop.
Associate Planner Trae Meyer says the proposed Scooter’s Coffee near the intersection with North Pontiac Drive requires a conditional use permit because of the drive-thru.
Scooter’s Coffee will build a 650 square foot, drive-thru-only facility that sells coffee, drinks, and some food items.
The Janesville Plan Commission voted unanimously to increase the maximum wall sign area for the proposed building from 34 to 70 square feet, and to grant a conditional use permit for the project at their meeting on Monday night.
