The Rock County Sheriff’s office has announced the launch of their free narcan vending machine.
Treatment Coordinator Verenice Sandoval says the machine is programmed to distribute the narcan for free, but people will have to scan a Q-R code to watch a two minute training video before receiving the narcan.
Sandoval says they wanted to have something as accessible as possible to the public, and with the machine being available 24/7, it will be as available to help the public at all times of the day.
The machine is located in the lobby of the Rock County Sheriff’s office on Highway 14 in Janesville.
