There’s just a week left to nominate individuals or organizations for the YWCA Rock County’s 10th annual Racial Justice Award.
Racial Justice Director Amiee Leavy says past recipients include Jean Carfora, Billy Bob Grahn, Dorothy Harrell, and Police Chief David Moore.
Nominations can be made on the YWCA’s website through December 16th.
The Racial Justice Award will be presented at the Martin Luther King Jr. Commemoration at Blackhawk Technical College on January 14th.
