Area children no longer have to wonder where their food comes from thanks to the work of a local farmer.
Megan Daluge is a full time dairy farmer who started to diversify in 2018 after noticing a lot of smaller farms were seller their herds and getting out of the business.
Daluge and her sister now run a farm day camp and a clothing boutique, in addition to her dairy farm off of South County Road G.
Daluge was recently recognized as a finalist in the Wisconsin Farm Bureau Federation’s inaugural 35 under 35 program in the sustainable future category.
The 35 Under 35 program recognizes the creativity and innovation of young farmers and agriculturists who are preserving agriculture through leadership in environmental, social and economic activities.
