Senate and House Democrats and Republican Senators appear to have come to an agreement on the federal budget.
Congressman Mark Pocan says House Republicans don’t appear to be a part of the deal due to leadership election issues with Kevin McCarthy.
The original deadline was September 30th, a continuing resolution was passed that extended the deadline to Friday. Pocan expects another extension will move the deadline to next Friday.
The Democrat says the budget bill is the one bill Congress needs to pass.
