The deadline to file nomination papers to run for various offices within the City and School District of Milton has passed.
In the race for Milton City Council, four people are seeking three open seats. They are incumbents Bill Wilson and Theresa Rusch and newcomers Nancy Lauder and Sharla Walker. Incumbent Larry Laehn has filed a declaration of non-candidacy.
In the race for Mayor, Anissa Welch is being challenged by Tom Chesmore.
Kris Koeffler is running unopposed for municipal judge.
In the race for Milton Board of Education, two people have filed to run for the two open seats. They are newcomers Tracy Hannah and Edward Snow.
Both incumbents Shelly Crull-Hanke and Michael Hoffman are not seeking re-election.
The election is Tuesday, April 4th.
