A new business in Whitewater hopes to serve up cups of coffee, with a little companionship from some feline friends.
Barista-Cats Cafe Owner and Founder Natalie Serna says she wanted to give the community and university students a safe place to sit, sip, and study while hanging out with cats
Serna says they are partnering with the Humane Society of Southern Wisconsin and all the cats at the café will be up for adoption.
Serna says they’re working on getting together adoption kits containing everything someone would need should they find a cat they want to take home.
The cafe officially opens on February 4th, but Serna recommends keeping an eye on their social media if they have days when people can stop in.
