The movie theatre in Beloit will find out at Tuesday night’s city council meeting if they’ll be able to sell beer in the future.
Classic Cinema’s CEO Chris Johnson says they wanted to make the change in order to keep up with trends in the movie going experience and to also keep up with competitors surrounding Beloit.
Johnson says they were willing to compromise with some of the changes the city council made to the ordnance at their last meeting and feels they’ll be able to come to an agreement both parties agree on.
The amendment previously appeared in front of the city council, but they decided to make additional changes to ordinances before they could vote on it.
