The School District of Beloit is helping expand access to mental health and substance abuse treatment.
Director of Pupil Services Missy Beavers says Care Solace is a mental health coordination service.
Beavers says after answering a few questions, Care Solace will connect a person with a service provider, that takes their insurance, speaks, their language, and is in the area they are willing to drive to.
Beavers says the effects of loss, isolation, uncertainty and fatigue brought on by the pandemic continue to pose challenges for many.
