The Janesville Multicultural Teacher Scholarship advisory board is still accepting applications for their 2023 scholarship awards.
Board Chair Tammy Huth says the purpose of the scholarship is to increase the diversity of educators in the School District of Janesville.
Huth says applicants must be a person of color seeking a degree and/or educator certification in Wisconsin and upon completion applicants must seek employment in the S-D-J and make a three year employment commitment.
Applications are due by March 1st and can be found by visiting the Community Foundation of Southern Wisconsin’s website.
