Smart Start Development program in Janesville set to start in March

Parents and guardians in Janesville who want to introduce their kids to sports but aren’t quite sure how to may be in luck.
Recreation Director Shelley Slapak says the city is offerings a Start Smart Sports Development program for kids ages 3 to 5 to prepare them for organized sports without the fear of competition.
Slapak says parents and guardians will work with their child, the instructor, and other kids in a social setting to learn the basic skills of throwing, catching, kicking, and batting.
Interested parents and guardians can register by visiting the city’s website or stopping by the Recreation Division in City hall by March 3rd.
