The City of Janesville’s Recreation Division will be hosting a summer seasonal hiring event for those interested a seasonal position with the city.
Recreation Director Sheller Slapak says they want to make it easy for people who are seeking a summer opportunity and they’re looking for help in their aquatic facilities, summer camps, and at Dawson softball complex.
Slapak says like other local municipalities such as Beloit, they did struggle to fill certain roles last year but are hoping to see a good return and get enough people at the event to fill every role they have.
The hiring event is being held March 19th from 10:00am until 2:00pm on the first floor of city hall.
