With winter weather in the forecast Thursday local communities are declaring snow emergencies.
The City of Beloit’s snow emergency begins at 6:00 Thursday morning and ends at 2:00 Friday afternoon.
The town of Beloit has declared a snow emergency which goes into effect at 7:00 Thursday morning and runs until 11:00 Thursday night.
The City of Janesville has also declared a snow emergency which goes into effect at 7:00 a.m. and lasts for 24 hours.
The City of Evansville has declared a snow emergency which goes into effect at noon Thursday and runs until 9:00 Friday morning.
Vehicles parked in violation of winter parking restrictions could be subject to a ticket or a tow.
