The City of Beloit is giving people opportunity to apply for summer seasonal positions at an upcoming job fair.
Human Resources Generalist Kim McGuire says they’ll be hosting an in-person event at the Rotary River Center from 9:00am until 1:00pm and will be hiring for jobs like lifeguards, cashiers, camp staff, and sports officials.
McGuire says like other city’s they had to deal with staff shortages last summer, but they hope by making changes to wages they’ll be able to attract more people to the positions.
People will be able to fill out applications day of, and if they pass minimum requirements, they can interview with supervisors for positions.
