The Rock County Sheriff’s Office is mourning the loss of one of its own.
Former Sheriff’s Office K-9 Sasha died Monday after being diagnosed with lymphoma.
According to a news release, Sasha started active duty in August of 2013 and conducted over 150 tracks and over 600 drug-related searches before re retirement in January of 2022.
The Sheriff’s Office says Sasha was a significant asset to the Sheriff’s Office and received numerous commendations and letters of appreciation for her work.
