Just as people trained in CPR save thousands of lives each year, people trained in QPR learn how to recognize the warning signs of a suicide crisis and how to question, persuade, and refer someone to help.
Walworth County Health and Human Services and the Lake Geneva Public Library are teaming up to host a free QPR training for members of the community age 16 and older from 6:00 until 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday, March 22nd.
QPR is a nationally recognized, evidence-based mental health intervention.
Walworth County Health and Human Services trained more than 300 community members in QPR in 2022.
