Voters in the Parkview School District to decide operational referendum

vote-2

Officials with the Parkview School District work to get the word out about an upcoming referendum on next week’s ballot.
Voters in the Parkview School District head to the polls in April 4th to decide on a three-year, $1.45 million a year operational referendum.
District Administrator Steve Lutzke says the money will go toward technology and curriculum materials, educational program, transportation, and recruiting and retaining staff.
Lutzke says because the district plans to levy 600,000 less next year, taxes are expected to go down about $135 per $100,000 of assessed value, even if the referendum passes.
