Family Services of Southern Wisconsin and Northern Illinois’ Sexual Assault Recover Program is hosting a writing workshop for anyone 12 and up who has experienced emotional or physical trauma.
Domestic Violence Services Coordinator Mandy Chitwood says it will run from 10:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. on April 22nd and 23rd at the Monroe Theatre Guild.
The creative writing workshop is designed to encourage participants to take time for themselves to address everyday stress or life-changing traumas.
The workshop is free, and anyone age 12 or older who has survived any type of trauma.
Chitwood says RSVPs are appreciated but not necessary.
