Janesville man busted with teenage runaway sentenced to a year in jail

A 22-year-old Janesville man who bought a plane ticket for a teenage runaway because the two thought they were in love will spend a year in the Rock County Jail.

Jose Delgado-Siaca plead guilty last month to a single count of child enticement and a second charge of second degree sexual assault of a child was dismissed but read into the record.

Delgado Siaca is accused of hiding out at a Janesville motel with the 15-year-old that had been reported missing from from New Britain, Connecticut.

Judge Barbara McCrory followed the terms of the agreement and sentenced Jose Delgado-Siaca to five years of probation and one year of conditional jail time.

Siaca will be required to register as a sex offender for the rest of his life.
