This week if officially being recognized as small business week in Janesville after the city council passed a resolution at last week’s meeting.
Hagen CPA Founder David Hagen, who was Forward Janesville’s Small Business of the Year, says he started his business 46 years ago and Janesville provides a great opportunity for small businesses to grow.
Forward Janesville President and CEO Angela Pakes says about 80% of Janesville businesses fall under the small business category, and while they often get overlooked, Janesville started as a community of small businesses owners.
The City is encouraging residents to help celebrate this week by learning more about and patronizing the community’s small businesses.
