UW-Whitewater’s DECA Chapter had a record setting performance at the International Career Development Conference in April.
DECA President Brendan Clementi says of the 33 students from their chapter in attendance, 17 students placed in the top 10 in the world in their event categories and a record 7 students placed in the top 3.
DECA Vice President of Events Anusha Barath says the success they saw at the conference is a reflection of the school’s College of Business providing them with great resources and advisors.
Whitewater was also a recipient of the Collegiate DECA Chapter Leadership Passport Award, one of just 22 schools to do so.
