The City of Whitewater now allows the use of all-terrain vehicles and task utility vehicles on all of its streets in Walworth and Jefferson County.
City Manager John Weidl says operators do need to obtain a permit.
Weidl says ATVs and UTVs are not allowed on non-City streets, such as those owned and maintained by the University of Wisconsin – Whitewater.
Weidl says ATVs and UTVs may not be operated on City streets between the hours of 10:00 p.m. and 5:00 a.m.
