A Missouri based recycling company with a location in Janesville has made a surprise and hefty donation to ECHO.
ECHO Executive Director Jessica Locher says she received a call in March saying they had been selected to be on the charity which would benefit from Alter Metal Recycling’s April metal donation drive.
Locher says ECHO will be receiving a $69,000 check from the group, and the money will help them with general expenses which will help them buy food for the food pantry, purchase motel vouchers, or rental assistance for clients.
Alter will be presenting the check to ECHO during a ceremony Tuesday at 11:00am.
