A 31-year-old Beloit woman who avoided prison in a robbery case in 2021, is now behind bars for selling stolen guns.
Friday morning Judge John Wood accepted a guilty plea from Leonora Blakley on a charge of being a felon in possession of a firearm and dismissed but read in additional charges of two counts of second degree reckless safety, another count of possession of a firearm by a felon, receiving stolen property, and operating a firearm with a controlled substance.
Blakely was found guilty in 2021 of two counts of robbery with use of force and was sentenced to probation.
Wood sentenced Blakley Friday to five years in prison and five years of extended supervision on the new gun charge, and five years of prison and five years of extended supervision on the revocation for the previous robbery convictions. Both sentences will be served concurrently.
