A 42-year-old Beloit man who was convicted of human trafficking, keeping a place of prostitution, child neglect, and drug charges by a Rock County jury last October, has his sentencing delayed for a second time.

Judge John Wood noted at what was supposed to be Ieem Currie’s sentencing hearing on Friday, that his new attorney had yet to receive the trial transcripts.

Evidence at the trial showed that Currie exploited young women with free food, shelter, and drugs and then coerced them into giving him the money they received from acts of prostitution.

Currie’s new sentencing date is August 9th at 9:45 a.m.
