With the weather heating the City of Janesville is making sure local kids have a place to cool off.
Recreation Director Shelly Slapak says the Riverside Park splash pad is officially open for the season.
Slapak says the Bubbler will open soon, once it’s done being cleaned. Lions Beach opens Memorial Day weekend. The Palmer Park wading pool will open up on June 3rd, and Rockport Pool opens June 10th.
Slapak says all of the City’s pools are fully staffed this year, so they will be able to have all of the facilities open as much as possible.
