By the end of next year, the town of Beloit will have a new fire station number two and town hall building.
Town of Beloit Town Administrator Tim Wellnitz says town hall has been operating out of fire station number one for close to four years.
Wellnitz says the town received a $7.67 million grant from the Wisconsin Department of Administration.
Plans are to begin demolition work in July, with completion in fall of next year.
The former town hall at 2871 South Afton Road closed in 2019 and was sold, and eventually demolished.
