A 49-year-old Janesville man facing charges of Homicide by the Intoxicated Use of a Motor Vehicle appears for arraignment in Rock County Court.
Mark D. McCoy appeared in front of Court Commissioner Jack Hoag Tuesday afternoon where he plead not guilty to one county of Homicide by Intoxicated Use of Vehicle, one county of 2nd-Degree Recklessly Endangering Safety, and three counts of felony bail jumping.
Rock County authorities say McCoy crossed the center line of South County Road D on the morning of April 23rd and collided with a vehicle driven by 55 year old Susan Hohmann of Janesville.
Hohmann was pronounced dead at the scene after McCoy was traveling north and crossed the center line into the path of a car she was driving.
McCoy also faces charges in Green County in connection to cases from last year and 2021.
