Janesville woman facing charges of neglect has bond reduced

After asking for a reduction in bond earlier this week, a Janesville woman accused of keeping her two children in deplorable conditions with heroin out in plain view has her wish granted.
Hailey Brown appeared in front of Court Commissioner Mason Braunschweig Friday afternoon, who reduced her cash bond down from $10,000 to $5,000.
The state attorney’s office argued against the reduction, noting Brown has several missed appearances spread across Rock and Dane counties along with the charges having felony exposure.
Brown faces charges of two counts of neglecting a child, possession of narcotics, possession of THC, two counts of bail jumping, and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Brown has a preliminary hearing set for June 6th in Rock County court.
