Beloit is now conducting their 12 month process to update the comprehensive plan, which was last updated in 2018.
City Planner Hilary Rottmann says they’ll be giving the public plenty of opportunity to make their voices heard, including a project kick off meeting at city hall (Wednesday), an online survey, and a booth at the Beloit Farmer’s market on July 8th.
Rottman says the comprehensive plan takes a long term view of the city’s future and makes recommendations for policies and strategies that will help realize the community’s vision in a variety of areas.
More information on the project can be found by visiting the city’s website.
