A Beloit non-profit is calling attention to National Homeownership Month this June.
Vice President of Strategic Partnerships Kelly Andrew says Acts Housing has been in Milwaukee for nearly 30 years, but opened an office in Beloit in 2019.
Andrew says since that time, 66 families have closed on houses in Beloit and Janesville.
Acts Housing provides free home buyer and financial counseling for individuals and families to help them become ready to buy.
