The Rock County Supervisors approves a resolution declaring June as Pride Month, but not without some contention.
After a half dozen citizens came to speak in favor of the resolution, and nobody spoke against it, District 14 Supervisor Mike Zoril tried unsuccessfully to indefinitely table the matter.
Several supervisors offered amendments to the resolution, which also failed.
The resolution passed on a 15 to nine vote last Thursday night.
