Local Assembly Representative votes in favor of wedding barn legislation

A local state legislator is voicing her support for legislation that would overhaul Wisconsin’s alcohol industry.
31st Assembly District Representative Ellen Schutt says she voted in favor of AB 304 last week.
The bill would require wedding barns to obtain a liquor license if the host more than six events a year.
The Clinton Republican says the bill has a grace period baked into it, to allow venues time to be in compliance.
The bill passed the Assembly on a 90 to 4 vote last week.
