Public officials are urging residents to take care as Rock County currently sits under an unhealthy air quality alert until noon Thursday.
DNR Public Information Specialist Craig Czarnecki says people should keep outdoor activities short and light and they should go inside if they show any symptoms like coughing or shortness of breath.
Czarnecki says says sensitive groups like children, the elderly, people with respiratory, lung, or heart issues, pregnant woman, and people who have to spend long amounts of time outdoors should move activities indoors.
