Milton City Council to hire recruitment firm to lead city administrator search

The Milton City Council is entering into an agreement with search firm Public Administration Associates to lead the hunt for a new city administrator, and provide someone to serve in the interim.
Mayor Anissa Welch says the Common Council is scheduled to approve the contract for interim City Manager Duane Gau Thursday afternoon.
According to the contract, Gau will work about 24 hours a week starting on July 17th and Public Administration Associates will be paid $92 an hour for his services.
Gau previously served as interim administrator in the Village of Kronenwetter before leaving in February due to a family medical emergency.
The City of Milton is holding a going away part for outgoing City Administrator Al Hulick next Thursday from 3:00 until 6:00 p.m. at City Hall.
