Inspired by family, a pair of local high school seniors are raising money to help out Marines.
Marissa Schmoldt says she and her friend Frankie Maynard will be holding a fundraiser luncheon on August 12th at the Evansville VFW from noon until 3pm.
Schmoldt says both of her older brothers are Marines, and the money they raise will go towards care packages which will then be sent to soldiers.
Schmoldt says care packages will include electrolyte mixes, coffee, protein bars, and baby wipes.
