With a new liberal majority, it doesn’t take long before another another challenge of the state’s legislative maps comes before the Wisconsin Supreme Court.
State Senator Mark Spreitzer says the case is asking that the entire legislature be put up for election on new maps next year.
Spreitzer says while Democratic candidates have repeatedly won statewide, Democratic legislative majorities have been far out of reach due to Republican gerrymandering.
The Beloit Democrat says he would welcome the opportunity to run again on fair maps even though there would be two years left on his term.
