United Way Blackhawk Region volunteers are looking to get their hands dirty next month for the annual Day of Caring.
President and CEO Mary Fanning-Penny says the deadline for non-profits and organizations to submit their projects is August 11th.
Fanning-Penny says organizations benefit by hosting half or full-day projects they may not have otherwise been able to tackle.
The Day of Caring and Campaign Kickoff breakfast will take place at 7:30 a.m. at the Eclipse Center on September 13th.
